1. What did you see happen when you clicked on the photo?
When i clicked on the photo the place where i clicked got a little sharper and became more clear.
2. How does this new camera work?
I think the area in which you click becomes the center attention of the photo in order to make it clear the aperture and shutter speed is probably changed.
3. What do you think a photographer would have to know about to take this kind of photo (remember its a point-and-shoot, so its full manual mode, what do you need to know about)
I think this person probably knows how to adjust the lens and knows the rules of photography so that each photo changes depending on where its clicked.
4. Is it worth the money?
I think so because it allows the person viewing the photo to see it in many perspectives and the photos have more detail that in my opinion attract the eye more than a photo thats not taken manually.

Fashion
1. Her neck was made longer, her cheek bones were made to stand out , her eyes and eyebrows were made bigger and her hair was changed.
2. I dont believe it is ethically acceptable for this persons image to be changed even if she allowed it, even if she was made "prettier", She should be on that billboard because of her natural beauty not because she was changed into societies view of Beauty.
3. What if they did change someones appearance so much into not beautiful but in to something they're totally not to hurt or damage someone personally and if that person commits a crime you have no proof that was them because you changed them so much. All sorts of things can go wrong here.
4.I think no changes are okay because natural beauty if the most beautiful but in the aspect of self esteem, I think if a woman has some minor acne or a beauty mark that would be okay because it is a minor change, but changing your eye size your neck length your hair style the structure of you face. Who are you really.
5. I think fashion photography they work hard to make something better and more appealing to society and PhotoJ focuses on taking photos that are there in the moment and are already as good as they can get.
6.I think each photography ties into reality by trying to keep up with whats "in" at that period in time but also in manipulating it fit the style of photography they want whether its distorting someones face or simply cropping a picture so the subject is seen more clearly.

Self Portrait Part 1 and 2
1.There are several ways to approach self-portraits. One way is to frame an interesting composition and then, with your compact camera mounted on a tripod or another means of support, use the self-timer (if your camera has one) to trip the shutter after you get into position in front of the lens. Just remember that a self-timer will give you a very limited amount of time to get in position (usually 10 seconds). It helps if you can get a friend to be a stand-in until you can be there, or mark your spot with tape or chalk.
2.Think about your motivation and emotions: Blankly staring at the camera rarely gets good results. Be silly, don’t be afraid to over-act. The worst that can happen is that you fill up your memory card with useless photos; but you might also find yourself with a proper gold-nugget of a self portrait.
3.Have fun with it. Be sexy. Be yourself. Be awesome. Be different. Be creative. Whatever you do, have fun with it. That’s part of the point, after all.
Environmental Portrait
I think i like this photograph because of the lighting and nature touch it has it gives the viewer a glimpse of what the person in this photo is probably tied to which is the horse and nature.
Im a sucker for a photograph that has depth and meaning and i think not only does this photo have meaning but i personally feel as though i want to know more about this person and their story and guitar. I love the position of the guitar and him i like this photo overall.
Self Portrait
I really like this photo because i of the position in which she's in makes her look strong and determined and gives off as how every woman should be. I don't know something about this photo makes me like it.
The way she has the eye on the paper makes me want to say "what is she doing?" which i think is the reason i chose it because i really like the way it tricks your eye into making you believe its something when its something totally different! Love it.
Casual Portrait
I love fall and even though we haven't been getting much cold weather in texas i do like the setting of this photo and i like the way it was taken.
This is that kind of photo where you see a more natural soft side of a person because the lighting and moment in which this was taken i think was perfect because it gives this person a soft natural look even if in their situation its a totally different scenario happening.

American soldier slide show and captions (review)
1.
A. I think the most powerful photo in the slideshow would be number 7 where buddha and shane are leaning on shanes car crying because Ian just drove away. For me their reactions to the situation is very powerful because Buddha says "when we saw him drive away is when we realized how real this was" and i bet a lot of people feel that way and it hurts to know that there are people in that situation.
3.
a.For the photos in which Ian is the main subject the captions are written in present tense. The short descriptions are as if everything is happening right now.
b.The captions enhance the photographs by giving them a storyline or pointing out something you might not have noticed if you were to have just seen the photo.

B.
Home #1-7
Basic training #8-22
Iraq #23-30
Back in denver #31-83
i think home is the most powerful set because its showing how ian is before the army it expresses the base of the story and him leaving everything behind.
C. The images work together to tell a story because even without the captions i think you could tell that they are set in chronological order and the fact that we don't have to many new faces showing up shows that the story is kept single.

Senior, Ian Fisher debates on whether calling back the Sgt. Martinez who recently called him with a army opportunity. Ian knows the risk of joining the army and how it will effect his life completely. "This whole time my father and i have been inseparable and leaving him just seems selfish to me" Ian says as he hangs up the phone and turns to look at his father who has on a bright smile.
Ian Fisher and father share there last moments together in silence as the time approaches where Ian will have to leave for training. With no mother figure in the picture Ian held on to his father for support his whole life "now is the time i can prove myself to him" Ian says with his chest held high. "But never in a million years did i ever picture leaving my father behind to go towards my future.
5.
a.they make them more detailed and give a background story more than the photos.
b.Videos tell a story and provide more details that you wouldn't think about by just looking at the photo.
c. Photos capture special moments that might be a blur in a video and often make you curious as to what is happening and why.
